International Living Future Institute – St. Louis Collaborative
The idea behind Living Buildings is that they give more than they take, creating a positive impact on human and natural systems. The Living Building Challenge encourages us stop doing “less bad” and start moving towards buildings that provide positive and regenerative impacts.
The St. Louis Collaborative was launched in August 2018 by our Collaborative co-facilitators Ian Cook of Hellmuth+Bicknese and Lance McOlgan of BatesForum. Ian and Lance co-chair the Collaborative Steering Committee which has been meeting regularly.
USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter education has long incorporated topics and concepts that align with the Living Building Challenge into educational programming, so we are excited about this partnership. Stay tuned for 2019 educational programs, info sessions and more!
